Freedom of the Seas

September 24th to October 1st, 2006

Just after we had returned home from our first cruise on Navigator of the Seas, Royal Caribbean started to release details of their newest class of ships. Freedom of the Seas was being built and was going to sail its first cruise in the summer of 2006. Lee figured that I would never agree to book another cruise before we went on Constellation, so, he did what any proper obsessive would do; he paid for it so I couldn't say no.

We had to wait over year for our sailing. We obsessed over every detail of the ship as they were released, including great new features like the FlowRider.

The entertainment was fantastic, with great new production shows and an evening with Charo.

This seven-day Western cruise departed from Miami, with stops in Mexcio, Grand Cayman, Jamaica and Labadee.
